Thing 22 Netlibrary

This site has allot to offer as far as I could tell.

I browsed what was on file and since this was my first visit, I thought wow!

Students who want to learn a new language could download a language e-book and study, or a patron who is planning a trip to Mexico, France etc... Patrons who are signed up with NC Live can download books from this site this is a great plus for them.

I learned that you can't download an e-audio book to an ipod ! well there ya go, two devices which should be compatible aren't, go figure. Also if your done with listening to the book you have to wait until the time limit is up before you can get another book, seems strange that one cannot just delete the book and start with a new one. Maybe in the future this will change:

I borrowed the library's mp3 player and downloaded a book. I wanted to see for my self all the steps it takes to do this, and although I did it, I'm confident in knowing that with a little time and more practice I'll master this technique, and wont feel apprehensive when and if a patron asks me for help. But for now I'm still learning and the curve is a wicked one.
