I selected Craigslist.com from the 2.0 list.
What I liked about Craigslist was reading my friends Shawn's stories from his childhood growing up in Western Mass. Shawn's a very funny guy. I also liked that he was being critiqued by several publishing authors and this turned out to be beneficial for him.
This site has many accesses to other favorable resources and depending on what one is doing or looking for someone can steer you towards that goal. An example for this would be my friend was looking for bike parts to a bicycle he was restoring; He received several names and phone numbers of individuals who had parts for his bike and after his repairs were made he sold the bike on craigslits and made a profit.
( I heard the news one morning that an individual hired a hit man on craigslits, she was apprehended before the deed was done,. thus this website attracts all kinds "the good the bad and the very weird".)
This web site would defiantly not be favorable for use here in the library.. This site invites any and all to view: This site reminds me of a bar room bathroom where one can read any number of messages from nasty to poetic to numbers for any given situation. One is free to type whatever one feels like. So the faint of heart need not venture. If I'm looking for a good book or author or genealogy ; there way better web based avenues to choose from than this one.
